Russian President Vladimir Putin takes part in a scientific experiment as part of the “Flight of Hope”, which aims to preserve a rare species of – cranes. At the helm of a trike that the birds have taken as their leader, Putin made three flights – the first to get familiar, and two others with the birds.
Vladimir Putin donned a pair of white overalls to better resemble a bird, took off in his hand glider, and took place at the head of a skein of rare cranes, who followed their new leader.
