The memo, which found two high-risk issues that were redacted for security reasons, said “the threat and risk potential (to the system) is limitless.”
The Fact That Healthcare.gov FAILED:
“The best safeguard for the American people to protect their personal privacy,”
- U.S. Congressman Steve Daines
I am deeply concerned about the recently reported security risks affecting the Obamacare website.
Last week, we investigated these security risks during a House Committee on Homeland Security hearing on the cybersecurity of personal data on Healthcare.gov.
During the hearing, I questioned Roberta Stempfley, the Acting Assistant Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Office of Cybersecurity and Communications, about the recent reports that Administration officials were aware that security risks to the Obamacare website were “limitless” long before the website’s official launch.
In June 2012, Department of Justice head Eric Holder was found in contempt by Congress for failing to turn over requested DOJ Fast and Furious internal documents to Congress. At that time, Pres. Barack Obama also asserted executive privilege over the F&F documents, despite his repeated denial of any involvement in the federal government’s botched gun operation with Mexican cartels.
Wednesday on Capitol Hill, three impeccable witnesses offered the clearest evidence to date that the Obama administration’s response to Benghazi before, during and after the terrorist attack that claimed the lives of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, State Department employee Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALs Glen A. Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods, was a deadly combination of ineptitude, political calculations, and outright lying.
WASHINGTON – Two “whistle-blowers” — who have never before spoken publicly about what really happened when the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi was attacked on Sept. 11, 2012 – are expected to testify before a House committee in a much-anticipated appearance Wednesday.
Four Americans died in the Benghazi attacks, including Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya.
