WASHINGTON – An AOL poll shows 67 percent of users supporting questions about Barack Obama’s eligibility to serve as president.

Despite the online poll’s appearance within the context of a highly opinionated column by Steve Pendlebury slanted against Sarah Palin’s recent remarks on Rusty Humphries radio talk show, more than two-thirds of some 82,000 taking the survey indicated support for her position.

AOL users were asked: “Do you think it’s fair to question President Obama’s citizenship?”

Questions have persisted about Obama’s status as a “natural born citizen,” a requirement of the Constitution, not his status as a “citizen.”

The column goes on to quote four people who are critics of the questions, none who support them – other than Palin.
The columnist concludes, “Nothing the former Alaska governor says seems to diminish the enthusiasm among her fans, who want Palin to be the next president. … But if Palin plans to be a leading candidate for president, she’ll need to learn what all successful politicians know: You don’t have to answer every question an interviewer asks.”

“I guess this AOL columnist prefers politicians like Barack Obama, who refuse to answer the most basic question of all: ‘Where’s the birth certificate?,’” said WND Editor and founder Joseph Farah, who has led the fight for full disclosure on the president’s constitutional eligibility requirement. “It’s strange to see journalists advising politicians to keep their mouths shut. It makes you wonder what is going on here.”

Last week, Humphries asked Palin on his nationally syndicated radio show: “Would you make the birth certificate an issue if you ran?”

Palin responded: “I think the public rightfully is still making it an issue. I don’t have a problem with that. I don’t know if I would have to bother to make it an issue, because I think that members of the electorate still want answers.”

Humphries then asked: “Do you think it’s a fair question to be looking at?”

“I think it’s a fair question, just like I think past association and past voting records – all of that is fair game,” Palin said. “The McCain-Palin campaign didn’t do a good enough job in that area.”

Palin said it was legitimate to question Obama’s eligibility, referring to “the weird conspiracy theory freaky thing that people talk about that Trig isn’t my real son – ‘You need to produce his birth certificate, you need to prove that he’s your kid,’ which we have done.

Who Really Owns the Media and What do They Want? 

Most people are aware that the mass media is biased, of course, how you believe them to be biased usually depends on your viewpoint. 

The left-right paradigm that is promoted in this country, pitting Republican against Democrat, or liberal against conservative, is a false flag meant to keep you from seeing the truth.

The media’s bias is not left or right, conservative or liberal, Republican or Democrat.

Instead, the media’s bias is corporate-based globalism and the media promotes the globalist agenda of the elites who wish to be your masters and are who really owns the media.

Consider this. in the 1950s, the mass media was a new phenomenon because before only radio had been “syndicated” and enjoyed anything like a national audience.

The mass media corporations began being bought up by large corporate interests, since media makes money and corporations are in business to make money.

When John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Jr. was elected President in 1961, the mass media was owned by less than a hundred corporations, many of them affiliated with one another through trade agreements and so forth, but all independently held.

By 1983, most of America’s media outlets were owned by fifty corporations, including such big names as The Walt Disney Corporation, CBS, and so forth.

The Federal Trade Commission had basic rules that prohibited ownership of media outlets in a given area to be owned by only one corporate interest, so competition for local and regional news markets still existed.

WHO REALLY OWNS THE MEDIA. THE COMMON DENOMINATOR

That common denominator is the Council on Foreign Relations and its sibling the Trilateral Commission.

Let’s go through the list, one by one, and see who principal investors and executive management are and what their links to the CFR might be.

WHO REALLY OWNS THE MEDIA. MONOPOLY RULES LIFTED
By the time of the last term of President Clinton those fifty media corporations had been whittled down to 24.

When President George W. Bush took office, changes in the Federal Communications Commission and the FTC made it possible for media ownership to further consolidate.

By 2004, ownership of 90% of America’s media outlets was in the hands of just five corporations. Time Warner, The Murdoch News Corporation, Disney, Bartelsmann of Germany, and Viacom.

All five of these corporations have something in common other than their controlling stakes in most mass media; something that will answer the question of who really owns the media.

TIME WARNER & MURDOCH

Time Warner, which owns many popular cable television networks, is heavily invested in by Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch and its Board is chaired by Richard D. Parsons, who is very good friends with and has close ties with the Rockefeller family, the Bush family, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Another prominent member of the board, Jessica P. Einhorn, is a member of the North American group of the Trilateral Commission.

The Murdoch News Corp is primarily owned by K. Rupert Murdoch, who is also CEO, with heavy investments from Citi Group and others. Murdoch is a known member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberg Group, and others.

Andrew S.B. Knight is on the board and is Director of the Rothschild Investment Trust while Michael Armstrong, on the board, is also a CFR member. Kenneth Derr, board member, is also on the board for Halliburton and is a CFR member. Other members of the board have close ties to both the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds as well as the CFR.

DISNEY, BARTLESMAN, VIACOMM/CBS

The Walt Disney Company has several stakeholders and board members in CFR and related groups. These include the wife of CEO Robert Iger, who has not only worked for Ford, but is also a member of the CFR’s California chapter. Anne Sweeney, Co-Chair of Disney Media Networks, is also a CFR member.

Bartelsmann of Germany and Viacom/CBS Corporation both have several board members who are connected to the CFR directly or by family/corporate relationships. These include Philippe P. Dauman (Viacom), Sumner Redstone (formerly Rothstein) and his daughter Shari (Viacom/CBS), and others.

Most of the controllers of the media conglomerates are friends with, often seen with, and do business with both the Rothschild and the Rockefeller families, a few have been spotted at Bohemian Grove ceremonies, and most are members of other secret groups.

That is who really owns the media.

The strangest thing about Obama’s gargantuan, trillion-dollar-plus new health-care entitlement is the timing.

Not only are we running $1.7 trillion annual deficits and scheduled to nearly double the $11 trillion debt in only eight years — and watching the logical end to an entitlement state in Greece’s implosion — but we are witnessing the meltdown of almost every government-run program imaginable: Medicare is broke; the Postal Service is insolvent and cutting back Saturday service (but probably not a commensurate one-sixth of their budget); and now Social Security spends more than it takes in.

So is this frenzied effort to expand government, widen entitlements, raise taxes, and borrow more money some sort of nihilistic urge to achieve a universal, cradle-to-grave, redistributionist entitlement state at about the same time the entire system goes bankrupt?

Constant campaigning, photo-ops, fluff interviews, adulatory essays in the corrupt media — all this can give a one or two point plus in the polls. But the reasons the bumps are transitory and followed by net losses after a week or two is that the public now realizes we are broke. When Obama announces yet another give-away or entitlement, the public equates that with spending more money we have just borrowed, and suspects that this can no more go on than can the spree of the giddy shopper who maxes out a dozen credit cards, oozing wealth and confidence, before the tab comes in and financialdestruction follows.
