VIDEO – Acorn Community Organizers Helping Pimp And Prostitute Obtain Illegal Loans From America’s Stimulus To Buy And Establish A Brothel For Young Girls From El Salvador.
Two more ACORN officials were fired Friday after a second video surfaced showing staffers in the community organizers’ Washington office offering to help a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute acquire illegal home loans that would help them set up a brothel.
The Obama-ACORN Anti Gun Conspiracy
ACORN — the Association of Community Organizations for Reform — a publicly funded national organization is using your tax dollars to actively interfere with the Second Amendment exercise of gun rights in New Jersey and elsewhere.
Last February, Harry Reid promised Senator Rand Paul (and the American people when his comments were deliberately inserted into the congressional record) that he would allow at least a week of debate and an open amendment process before the final vote to extend the misnamed “Patriot” Act.
Obama Rails Against Oil Subsidies, Gave ACORN $3 Billion in Stimulus

Yeah, how dare those evil oil companies who produce a product we all need get money from the federal government.
President Obama lashed out at oil companies — and the tax breaks they get from the government — for a second consecutive day on Thursday and again in Saturday’s address.
The community organizer who became president has launched a massive pre-reelection year campaign to assemble and train an army of new community organizers to carry Obama’s “movement forward for years to come.”

What you didn’t hear: Acorn leader convicted of Vote Fraud!
While the news cycle has been dominated for the last four days with the aftermath of the Tuscon shooting, one very important story is not out there, or at least not out there with significant coverage.
ACORN Is Reborn By Obama, With A Slice Of Jihad On The Side.
September Surprise: The Muslim Brotherhood-associated “Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations” (CCMO) will bring 25-30 Muslim leaders of 20 national Muslim groups to attend a special workshop presented by the White House and U.S. Government agencies (Agriculture, Education, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services etc.) to provide the groups “funding, government assistance and resources.” The workshop will apparently provide special access for these Muslim Brotherhood organizations: the organizers pledge to provide “direct access” and “cut through red tape.” Government and Muslim groups will hold an Iftar dinner (breaking the fast of Ramadan) after the workshop.

While the news cycle has been dominated for the last four days with the aftermath of the Tuscon shooting, one very important story is not out there, or at least not out there with significant coverage.
An executive with ACORN has been convicted of voter fraud in Nevada. Amy Adele Busefink was convicted of voter fraud in Las Vegas. She was given a two year sentence, which was regrettably, suspended.
In 2008, Busefink ran Acorn’s voter registration drive in Nevada. Nevada officials threw out an amazing 400,000 bogus registrations ACORN had submitted. To put this into perspective, the 2009 population of Nevada, was 2.6 million! Those kind of numbers can mean a huge impact in an election. ACORN darling Harry Reid barely won reelection and you have to wonder how many fraudulent ACORN votes were delivered for Reid and if those votes were his margin of victory.
This type of electoral fraud and the absolute scale of it scream that all involved should be put in jail. However, ACORN voter fraud is always to the benefit of Democrats and Busefink was lucky enough to be in front of a, you guessed it, Democrat Judge for sentencing. Judge Donald Mosley is a member of the Clark County Democratic Party. He has also had his own ethical campaign issues.
What is even more shocking is that Busefink, after being charged with voter fraud for her activities in 2008, then in 2010, she ran the national vote drive for Project Vote, which is an alter ego of ACORN. Guess who else used to work for Project Vote? None other than Barack Obama.
Busefink is not the first ACORN employee to be convicted. The Las Vegas field director was and ACORN itself, even though it has filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, will be tried on these charges in April. Do not expect a lot of media coverage on that one either.
There are two real scandals here. The first is why a group like ACORN has continued to be able to receive tax dollars for anything. ACORN’s antics have been well known, yet over the last two decades, under both Republican and Democrat administrations, they have continued to feed at the tax payer trough.
The second and biggest scandal here is why groups like ACORN and Project Vote are allowed to do voter registrations at all. Leftist groups have developed a strategy of filing massive numbers of voter registrations at the last minute, overwhelming the ability of local election boards to verify the applications. Last year, in both Colorado and Arizona, election offices were bombarded last minute registrations. In Arizona, at least one in four was fraudulent and probably would have found more if they had time.
As conservatives fight back and take the country back from the Socialists, one of the our top agenda items needs to be repeal of the laws that enable these liberal groups to engage in massive voter fraud.
The question will be, will our newly elected leaders have the backbone for the fight?
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.): In 2006 Harry ‘Histrionics’ Reid Voted AGAINST Raising The Federal Debt Ceiling. When They Took Majority In 2006, Of Course He Changed His Mind, In Order To Centralize/Subjugate The United States To The London Banking Cartel aka; British Empire. This afforded The Democrats An Opportunity Of A Life Time. A Veil Of An Insider Trading Scheme For Themselves To Invest Against The United States And To Assure Its Failure By Congress. This Was The Modus Of The British Empire Since 1776. Why Fight City Hall aka; The British Empire And All Their Operatives Throughout The U.S.
In an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Reid said failing to increase the $14.3 trillion debt limit, which the administration has warned will be reached sometime this spring, is not an option.
“We can’t back out on the money we owe the rest of the world,” he said. “We can’t do as the Gingrich crowd did a few years ago, close the government.”

George Soros is having a very good crisis.
Felon George Soros Made $11.6 Billion in 2008 trading against the orchestrated financial crisis ~ illegal insider trading.
“It is, in a way, the culminating point of my life’s work,” the 80-year-old felon says in his heavy Hungarian accent during an interview at his London mansion.
The crisis began when the “housing super-bubble” took form after the Clinton Administration repealed Glass-Steagall on November 12, 1999, This allowed Wall Street to invest increasing amounts of money in credit which ended up as aka; (Untraceable Worthless Paper Derivative Debt Contracts). This is what America has bailed out and why America has been subjugated for the next coming generations to repay. We are repaying Wall Street’s Scheme Of Making Money By Fraudulent Worthless Paper Contracts. They Hold More Debt Paper, Then There Are Real Tangible Assets In The World.
AIG, the largest insurance company in the world has been bailed out bytaxpayersthree times. Although it was “too big to fail,” it failed. GeneralMotors, also “too big to fail,” went intobankruptcy. The great Merrill Lynchbrokeragewent belly up, but was saved by thetaxpayersand given to Bank of America by the Bush administration. In turn, Bank of America had to be bailed out bytaxpayers. Citibank has been bailed out more than once, as have other banks that were “too big to fail.”

The Soviet Union is gone. In the 1960s and 1970s, the CIA reported that this massive nation that covered almost one-third of the land area of the world was just “too big to fail.” Presidents were told by our security agencies that America would face this daunting enemy for generations. By the 1990s the Soviet Union was in the trash heap of history. A nation “too big to fail” had failed, and had broken apart into numerous smallerstatesthat began battling each other.
History is full of nations and empires that were “too big to fail.” The Roman Empire is gone; the Holy Roman Empire is gone; the Byzantine Empire is gone. The great British Empire on which “the sun never set” is now a tiny Island in nearbankruptcy.
But don’t worry: The UnitedStatesis “too big to fail.”
The UnitedStatesno longer has a real manufacturing base, and almost 90 percent of the economy is based on consumption, mostly of imported goods. But don’t worry, our leaders say that the American consumer society is so big it can’t fail. The leadership believes that the Chinese and the Saudi royals will continue to loan us money to consume because our nation and our economy are just “too big to fail.” Congress and the president believe that the leaders of rich nations understand they must bail out America from time to time, sort of the way Americantaxpayershad to bail out AIG, GM, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Citibank and others.
Denial is not a river in Egypt. Denial is the state in which the American people and the American leadership live. The trillions of dollars the Bush and Obama administrations have spent to “stimulate” the economy have to be paid back from the futureincomeoftaxpayers. Translation: Our children and grandchildren are yoked to a huge debt they cannot possibly repay. Far from being too big to fail, the UnitedStateshas become too big to survive.
The American problem is not just debt, it is the sheer size of the government. The federal government is so involved in so many of the aspects of the everyday life of Americans that it simply cannot keep track of its own activities, or of how much is spent or even how it is actually spent.
I was present in the Soviet Union for the coup and for the Great Collapse. Soviet communism failed because of the size of government. As a nation the Soviet Union simply could not afford to pay all of the accumulated debt, pensions and health care, and also spy on all dissidents and field an army. Despite being an oil rich nation, the Soviet Union collapsed because of central planning and the inability to pay its obligations. Rather than being too big to fail, it was so big it had to fail.
Having witnessed the Soviet failure firsthand, the parallels with the current path of the UnitedStatesare all too clear. The more the federal government does, the greater its role in our lives, the greater its debt, the higher the taxes, the greater the central planning – the closer we are to failure as a nation-state.
Fortunately the people of the UntiedStateshave a safety net in the individualstates. Once our “too big to fail” federal government defaults and fails, the variousstateswill still remain functioning democratic entities. Thestateswill be able to provide the core services needed by the people, including law enforcement and education. When will this happen? Soon enough that state governments should be planning now for the possibility.

State officials raid ACORN headquarters in New Orleans
Just when we thought all the ACORN ruckus had died down a bit, this just in:
Louisiana state officials have raided ACORN’s New Orleans headquarters at Dongenois and Canal streets. Investigators were seen Friday removing computers, other electronic terms and records from the office, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
The raid is the result of an ongoing investigation into the alleged embezzlement of ACORN funds by Dale Rathke, brother of ACORN founder Wade Rathke. According to various reports, the younger Rathke is alleged to have helped himself to somewhere between $1 million and $5 million of organization funds.
The alleged incident was never reported to authorities by ACORN.
Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell obviously wanted to make sure that he could get his hands on the records before ACORN moved the rest of its belongings to New York. The organization officially moved its national headquarters from New Orleans to New York earlier this year.
It will be fascinating to learn what Caldwell and his associates discover as they sift through the records.
The bet here is that their findings will give birth to a whole new round of ACORN-bashing by the national media. We can’t wait.
WARNING: NEW ACORN COULD EMERGE FROM POWER STRUGGLE
As the new ACORN continues to reinvent itself, fractures are emerging that could lead to a frightening birth of a entirely new organization that uses the same name and employs the same tactics.
Beth Butler, former executive director of Louisiana ACORN and longtime partner of Wade Rathke, was fired by the organization’s New York-based leadership a few weeks ago.
The leadership also moved ACORN’s national headquarters from New Orleans, where the Rathkes rule the roost, to New York and Washington, DC, where ACORN Executive Director Bertha Lewis calls the shots.

On the surface, it seems like a simple reorganization designed to centralize the command structure of the organization.
But the New Orleans locals, headed by Butler, are fighting back. They have vowed to establish a New Orleans-based organization under the same ‘ACORN’ name that would work independently of the national organization.
How’s this for a possible scenario? We can picture Lewis being left in charge of a corrupt shell of an organization that is grappling with serious legal and financial problems, while Buther and Rathke start fresh in New Orleans without all the baggage. Suddenly we could have a new, “clean” version of ACORN that’s back in the good graces of federal authorities.
The very thought gives us the shivers.
ANOTHER DOOR LEFT OPEN FOR ACORN
Proposed legislation in Congress continues to be worded in ways that leave future funding for ACORN up to dangerous bureaucratic interpretation.
Take, for example, language in the House health care reform legislation, set to be voted upon any day. Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) exposed language in the bill that would allow “appropriate entities” to assist with outreach efforts to “inform and educate individuals and employers about the Health Insurance Exchange and Exchange-participating health benefits plan options,” according to The Hill.
To Vitter, that could mean ACORN. Does it? We don’t know. But when the interpretation is left to bureaucrats, a bill like this could mean just about anything. And we know ACORN still has a lot of friends in Washington, D.C., who are waiting for the scandal to pass before breathing financial life back into the organization.
This is not the first time such language has surfaced. A bill that passed a Senate committee earlier this year included funding for “national community-based organizations.”
It’s been said that sunlight is the best disinfectant. In the case, only continual exposure to sunlight will keep shady provisions from doing long-term harm. We’ll maintain a close watch and keep you updated. In the meantime, keep an eye on the website for updates on the blog.
With help from docile Democratic politicians and journalists, ACORN is attempting to perpetrate yet another spectacular fraud on the American people.
After the American public saw the true face of ACORN last year, hidden camera videos showing its workers across the nation bending over backwards to facilitate underage prostitution, fraud, immigrant smuggling, and tax evasion in the name of social justice, ACORN realized it needed to take emergency action to protect its revenue streams.
WASHINGTON. D.C. – As part of House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Ranking Member Darrell Issa’s (R-CA) ongoing investigation into the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now’s (ACORN) lobbying and election activities, the Delaware State Public Integrity Commission responded to a letter of inquiry sent by Issa revealing that “no person has ever registered to represent any of the ACORN affiliates identified in the Committee’s letter” and that after being notified that a “lobbyist must register” they had yet to do so while still engaging in lobbying activities.
The Public Integrity Commission has subsequently sent a certified letter to Delaware ACORN “stating that the law provides that the Public Integrity Commission can refer suspected violations of the lobbying law to the Attorney General for investigation and prosecution. The matter will be on the Commission’s agenda for its December 15, 2009 meeting.”
“After being notified of their failures to adhere to state lobbying laws, Delaware ACORN has ignored state law while still engaging in lobbying activities,” Issa said. “This is another example of ACORN’s blatant disregard for the law. ACORN continues to submit fraudulent filings while failing to abide by the lobbying and election rules while claiming to be a community organization that operates within the boundaries of the law – nothing could be further from the truth.”

House Republicans accused the Obama administration Tuesday of covering up criminal activities committed by the embattled community activist group ACORN, saying that the president has used the group as an illegal political tool to help himself and other Democrats get elected.
“The current administration is fast becoming, in reality, the war room of ACORN’s political machine,” said Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican. “I am concerned that the era of corruption promulgated by ACORN and protected by the White House is just the beginning.”
The top Republican on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said ACORN has engaged in “illegal, partisan activities designed to help individual Democratic members.”
“This (action) goes from city councilmen to state assemblymen all the way to President Barack Obama,” he said.
Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, said Mr. Obama’s past ties to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) will “taint any conclusions” by any Justice Department probe into the group.
Mr. Issa and Mr. Smith made their remarks at a Capitol Hill forum on ACORN that they sponsored. The event was attended by a handful of House Republicans but no Democrats.
Congressional Democrats, while condemning many of ACORN’s practices, see no illegal ties between the group and the White House.
Many of the Republican lawmakers used the event to try to link the White House to ACORN – a group under intense scrutiny after hidden-camera videos showed its workers advising a woman posing as a prostitute how to cheat on taxes and loan applications.
The liberal organization also has been accused of voter registration fraud that benefited Democratic candidates in several states.
Mr. Obama served as an ACORN lawyer during his years as a community organizer in Chicago but has cut ties with the group since elected as president.
“When this investigation is finally finished … these roads following ACORN will lead to the White House,” said Rep. Steve King, Iowa Republican.
Republicans have pressed the Justice Department and the FBI to conduct a comprehensive investigation of ACORN. They are upset that the Democrat-controlled Congress hasn’t launched its own probe.
Congress recently canceled federal funding to ACORN and its affiliated organizations. But the Justice Department released a memo last week concluding that the government should pay ACORN for contracts that were in place before Congress passed the law.

Christopher Edwards, a former Nevada ACORN executive, received a sentence of three years probation and a $500 fine today for his role in an illegal voter registration conspiracy, theLas Vegas Sun reports.
In August the former ACORN field director pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime of compensation for registration of voters. The newspaper reported
The attorney general’s office said Edwards organized and operated a quota system called “blackjack” or “21+” through which the group paid canvassers based on the number of voter registration cards they collected each day. The canvassers were to gather at least 20 completed cards daily and anyone who turned in 21 or more would be given an extra $5.
Edwards has agreed to testify against Amy Busefink, a former regional director for ACORN who allegedly participated in the scheme.
ACORN the group is also charged in the case. The trial is scheduled for April 19 next year.
Meanwhile, lawyer Chris Berg wonders why there is no serious investigation of ACORN happening at the federal level.
COMMITTEE ON OVERSIGHT AND GOVERNMENT REFORM
http://republicans.oversight.house.gov

WASHINGTON D.C. – House Financial Services Committee Ranking Member Spencer Bachus (R-AL), Oversight and Government Reform Committee Ranking Member Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Lamar Smith (R-TX) sent a letter today to financial institutions requesting full and complete disclosure of funds provided to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), and any of its subsidiaries and affiliates, including ACORN Housing Corporation.
“Support for ACORN is not limited to the federal government,” Reps. Bachus, Issa and Smith noted in the letter. “Corporations provide a significant source of ACORN’s operating budget.”
After new evidence surfaced linking ACORN to possible criminal activity, House Republicans undertook a series of steps designed to protect taxpayers, and to spotlight the role of corporations, including those that receive taxpayer support, in funding ACORN’s operations.
“In addition to corporate contributions to ACORN, many companies have partnered with ACORN on numerous programmatic projects including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions, affordable housing development and ACORN’s mortgage brokerage firm, Acorn Housing Affordable Loans, LLC,” Reps. Bachus, Issa and Smith wrote. “In an effort to promote transparency, accountability and proper oversight by Congress, and in conjunction with the Oversight Committee’s ongoing investigation, we request that your corporation provide the Committee on Financial Services with a complete accounting, by October 15, 2009, of all financial arrangements that your company and its foundation have with ACORN and its subsidiaries and affiliates.”
The letter calls on the institutions to disclose any settlements and other forms of contracts with ACORN, the amount of funds the company or its Foundation has given to ACORN over the last 15 years, the amount of any funds to ACORN originating from TARP funds, the names of individuals who make executive decisions regarding corporate and foundation contributions to non-profit organizations, and plans to continue providing funds to ACORN.

A lawyer involved with legal action against Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now ACORN told a House Judiciary subcommittee on March 19 The New York Times had killed a story in October that would have shown a close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign because it would have been a “a game changer.”
Heather Heidelbaugh, who represented the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee in the lawsuit against the group, recounted for the ommittee what she had been told by a former ACORN worker who had worked in the group’s Washington, D.C. office. The former worker, Anita Moncrief, told Ms. Heidelbaugh last October, during the state committee’s litigation against ACORN, she had been a “confidential informant for several months to The New York Times reporter, Stephanie Strom.”
Ms. Moncrief had been providing Ms. Strom with information about ACORN’s election activities. Ms. Strom had written several stories based on information Ms. Moncrief had given her.
During her testimony, Ms. Heidelbaugh said Ms. Moncrief had told her The New York Times articles stopped when she revealed that the Obama presidential campaign had sent its maxed-out donor list to ACORN’s Washington, D.C. office.
Ms. Moncrief told Ms. Heidelbaugh the campaign had asked her and her boss to “reach out to the maxed-out donors and solicit donations from them for Get Out the Vote efforts to be run by ACORN.”
Ms. Heidelbaugh then told the congressional panel:
“Upon learning this information and receiving the list of donors from the Obama campaign, Ms. Strom reported to Ms. Moncrief that her editors at The New York Times wanted her to kill the story because, and I quote, “it was a game changer.”’
Ms. Moncrief made her first overture to Ms. Heidelbaugh after The New York Times allegedly spiked the story — on Oct. 21, 2008. Last fall, she testified under oath about what she had learned about ACORN from her years in its Washington, D.C. office. Although she was present at the congressional hearing, she did not testify.
U.S. Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wisc., the ranking Republican on the committee, said the interactions between the Obama campaign and ACORN, as described by Ms. Moncrief, and attested to before the committee by Ms. Heidelbaugh, could possibly violate federal election law, and “ACORN has a pattern of getting in trouble for violating federal election laws.”
He also voiced criticism of The New York Times.
“If true, The New York Times is showing once again that it is a not an impartial observer of the political scene,” he said. “If they want to be a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party, they should put Barack Obama approves of this in their newspaper.”
Academicians and journalism experts expressed similar criticism of the Times.
“The New York Times keeps going over the line in every single campaign and last year was the worst, easily,” said Mal Kline of the American Journalism Center. “They would ignore real questions worth examining about Obama, the questions about Bill Ayers or about how he got his house. Then on the other side they would try to manufacture scandals.”
Mr. Kline mentioned Gov. Sarah Palin was cleared by investigators of improperly firing an Alaska State Trooper, but went unnoticed by The Times.
“How many stories about this were in The New York Times,” he asked.
“If this is true, it would not surprise me at all. The New York Times is a liberal newspaper. It is dedicated to furthering the Democratic Party,” said Dr. Paul Kengor, professor of Political Science at Grove City College. “People think The New York Times is an objective news source and it is not. It would not surprise me that if they had a news story that would have swayed the election into McCain’s favor they would not have used it.”
ACORN has issued statements claiming that Ms. Moncrief is merely a disgruntled former worker.
“None of this wild and varied list of charges has any credibility and we’re not going to spend our time on it,” said Kevin Whelan, ACORN deputy political director in a statement issued last week.
Stephanie Strom was contacted for a comment, and The New York Times’ Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications Catherine Mathis replied with an e-mail in her place.
Ms. Mathis wrote, “In response to your questions to our reporter, Stephanie Strom, we do not discuss our newsgathering and won’t comment except to say that political considerations played no role in our decisions about how to cover this story or any other story about President Obama.”
