The US state of California last week passed a budget for fiscal year 2010-2011 that includes more severe austerity measures against the poor and working class. The agreement came 100 days after the end of the fiscal year, the longest delay on record.

The budget was initially passed by the state assembly and senate early Friday morning and was approved by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger the same day. Schwarzenegger implemented nearly $1 billion in additional spending cuts by exercising his line item veto power.
The budget includes approximately $7.8 billion in spending cuts, including:
- $3.8 billion in reduced and deferred payments to K-12 education and community colleges. This is despite claims by the governor’s office that the latest budget protects public education. Over the past two years, over $17 billion has been cut from public education in California, and more than 30,000 public school teachers and support staff have lost their jobs.
- $1.6 billion in payroll and benefit reductions for state employees. State workers have already suffered from mass layoffs and an effective 15 percent cut in pay over the past 15 months from unpaid furlough days.
- An $800 million reduction in prison medical care. To compensate for this loss, the governor has promised to release low risk inmates in need of medical attention. How the inmates will receive medical care outside of prison walls was not specified by the governor’s office.
- $300 million in reductions to the In-Home Support Services program, which provides funding for residents to care for sick and disabled family members. The cuts will come by imposing a 3.6 percent reduction in caregiver hours and reducing caseloads.
- $256 million from “Stage 3” of the CalWORKS welfare-to-work program, which provides subsidized child care. The reductions will go into effect on November 1.
- $200 million from the state’s MediCal program, which provides medical insurance to low income residents. The reductions will be achieved through decreased enrollment.
- $133 million from mental health services for special education students.
- Nearly $60 million from AIDS treatment and prevention programs.

Additional cuts were made to community health clinics, community-based services for senior citizens, prostate cancer treatment programs and substance abuse services.
Reflecting on the cuts to child care services and CalWORKS, Nancy Berlin, director of California Partnership, a statewide coalition of advocates for the poor, said: “These people have no place else to go. We’re telling them, [welfare recipients] to go out and work, and we’re going to make it harder to do that by taking their child care away from them.”
The budget also relies on overly rosy revenue estimates, along with an anticipated $5.8 billion in assistance from the federal government—assistance that is unlikely to ever materialize. The Obama administration has ruled out any aid to help states close their budget gaps despite offering trillions to bail out the banks.
Given these optimistic projections, it is almost certain that massive deficits will reoccur in the next fiscal year. Both the Republican and Democratic candidates for governor—Meg Whitman and Jerry Brown—have pledged to carry out the cuts necessary to balance the budget.
The budget exposes the repeated assurances from Sacramento that regardless of how deep and broad the cuts, public education would be spared. The Schwarzenegger administration has claimed that the Proposition 98 funding guarantee has been left untouched. The proposition, which was passed by voters in 1998, allocates a minimum level of funding in years of weak economic growth based on previous years’ funding, along with adjustments for increased school enrollment.
In terms of absolute spending, the governor’s claim is true, as spending on Proposition 98 for the current year’s budget is approximately $49.6 billion, which represents an increase of $115 million over the previous year. According to the state legislative analyst’s office, however, the minimum funding guarantee should actually be $53.8 billion, due to increases in student enrollment. In other words, the current budget spends less on a per-child basis.
In addition, the budget also does not include a “settle up” obligation of $1.8 billion, which was the amount of funding still owed to public schools under the Proposition 98 guarantee, and which wasn’t paid out during the 2009-2010 fiscal year.

The budget also includes massive cuts in state worker pensions, which the governor demanded as a precondition for passage. In a press conference in Fresno delivered after the budget passed, the governor called state worker pensions, “the silent thief of our treasury, robbing other programs” such as education and health care.
The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) the largest state employee union, played an indispensible role in facilitating the cuts.
The agreement reached with the union includes a one time 3 percent wage increase. In exchange for this very modest rise in salary, workers will see their pension contributions increase by 3 percent on a yearly basis, along with a five-year increase in the minimum retirement age.

In the most brazenly cynical fashion, the union claims that the agreement protects the membership from additional unpaid furlough days. However, it includes, according to the union summary, a provision for “12 personal leave days in exchange for a one-time, 12 month, 4.62 percent decrease in pay.” This statement comes only a few paragraphs down from the claim that the contract includes a 3 percent pay increase.

A 4.62 percent decrease in pay is equivalent to about one day per month. In other words, this agreement amounts to a one-day per month unpaid furlough—under the guise of a “personal day”!

The contract also includes a provision to calculate pensions based on the last three years of employment, rather than an employee’s highest paid year of employment. This measure was absolutely crucial from the standpoint of the ruling elite as it insures that as more wage cuts and unpaid furloughs are made to state workers, the state will therefore be able to pay the newly retired the most miserly pensions possible.

California Judge Blocks Cap & Trade Bill: Reagan’s CEQA States, ‘A Less Destructive Alternative Must Be Analyzed’
Thanks to Ronald Reagan’s legacy and a legal miscalculation by leftist environmentalists, this week a California judge stopped the implementation of California’s Cap and Trade law: better known as Cap and Tax. This is the same type of carbon trading that Al Gore has hawked for years, but failed to get through the most radical Democrat Congress in generations. That’s how bad it was. Of course, that didn’t stop whacked out California from passing a Draconian version of the same job killing scheme.
To add insult to injury, the so called “republican” Governor Schwarzenegger signed the bill into law in 2006. It was opposed by the Chamber of Commerce and most sane taxpayers (admittedly, CA doesn’t have enough of those). The opponents claimed that the law would drive out business to other states and dramatically increase the cost of energy. Energy costs would, of course, be passed on, driving up the cost of everything else-in the midst of the nation’s worst recession.
The voters of California even had an opportunity last year to put the brakes on it at the ballot box with Proposition 23, but the environmental left spent millions fighting the proposition. It wouldn’t even have scrapped the whole law, but only would have suspended the Cap and Tax until state unemployment dropped below 5.5% for four consecutive quarters. The proposition was defeated overwhelmingly. Considering our unemployment rate is well over 12% here, the California voters essentially supported assisted economic-suicide of their own state.
It took two forces working together to finally defeat Cap and Tax: a group of radical Lefties and Ronald Reagan to put the brakes on this law.
A challenge to the law, based on other environmental laws, specifically CEQA, (the California Environmental Quality Act), finally prompted a judge to halt the law’s implementation. CEQA says that legislation that has an impact on the economy or the environment has to be analyzed for less destructive alternatives. Such an analysis was not adequately done according to the judge. CEQA was signed by then Governor Ronald Reagan. (May he rest in peace.)
Ironically, the group that brought the legal challenge to the law was not the coalition of businesses that would be directly affected. It was a group of racist, enviro-whackos calling themselves, the Center on Race, Poverty and the Environment, abbreviated CRAP. This group claims to defend minorities from the ravages of the environment. The reason that CRAP filed the lawsuit is that they thought the legislation was too business friendly!
The judges ruling is now an opening for the business community to permanently defeat this law. The California Air Resources Board, one of the state’s largest and most unaccountable agencies has to now study and find alternative solutions to reducing green house gases.
Here’s an idea for the Resources Board: how about if California just continue on with its other destructive economic policies? Policies like: spending taxes it doesn’t have, treasury-busting unfunded pensions, high corporate and individual taxes, promoting the trial lawyer paradise and all the other anti-business regulations? Then you’ll be on track for carbon emissions like you’ve had before the industrial revolution-without the need for the complex Cap and Tax.

The rolling blackouts now being implemented in Texas and across the country as record cold weather grips the United States are a direct consequence of the Obama administration’s agenda to lay siege to the coal industry, launch a takeover of infrastructure under the contrived global warming scam, and help usher in the post-industrial collapse of America.
Planned power outages conducted by utility companies have caused outrage amongst officials at four major hospitals in Texas, at Parkland, Baylor, Methodist and Presbyterian Dallas.
“Because of the sensitive life-saving equipment, hospitals are considered “critical care facilities,” and supposed to be exempt from rolling blackouts,” reports CBS 11. “That’s exactly what Presbyterian Dallas was led to believe. “We were of the understanding that hospitals and other critical-care providers were not supposed to be affected by planned outages,” said hospital spokesman Stephen O’Brien.”
As well as hospitals, nursing homes, fire stations, police stations, other emergency response facilities have also been hit with outages as demand soars due to freezing temperatures. Many places in Texas now rely on Mexico to supply their power.
“Mexico’s state electricity company on Wednesday started supplying electricity to the US state of Texas, where demand shot up amid unusually cold temperatures and caused power outages,”reports AFP.

Hospitals are supposed to be exempt from the blackouts which hit yesterday, with power company Oncor attributing the outages to a “mistake,” but there were no such mistakes when it came to supplying power to Cowboys Stadium. The government has ensured that the blackouts will not affect Super Bowl venues, a decision that has left residents furious.
Street lights and traffic lights have also been hit by the outages, causing traffic build-ups and other hazards more typically associated with a decrepit underdeveloped country, and not with the supposed leading light of the prosperous first world.

The inability of power companies to meet demand is almost exclusively a consequence of the Obama administration’s publicly stated goal to bankrupt the coal industry and in turn ram through the de-industrialization of America under the guise of the phony global warming mantra.
Even as China and Mexico are allowed to build dozens of new power plants every year, the United States is barely permitted to construct a handful, as the Environmental Protection Agency takes control of refineries and power plants under the completely fraudulent pretext of preventing global warming even as the country experiences some of the coldest weather seen for decades.
Texas has been the epicenter in a battle over the Obama administration’s drive to have the EPA regulate greenhouse gas emissions. Texas is the only state that has refused to implement a permit process.
“Austin said it would not establish such a scheme for greenhouse gas emissions because the US Environmental Protection Agency had no authority to regulate them as of January 2,”reported the Financial Times.
“Twelve other states are mounting a legal challenge to the federal government’s authority but they, unlike Texas, are implementing the new measures while the dispute makes its way through the courts.”
Local environmental officials in Texas were again involved in a fight with the EPA after the, “Texas Commission on Environmental Quality last week approved an air permit for the $3.2 billion Las Brisas Energy Center despite a formal EPA request that the commission delay issuing the permit until EPA’s concerns about the plant’s emissions impacts are fully addressed.”
The Obama administration is conducting industrial warfare against the United States. Obama’s 2008 promise to “bankrupt” the coal industry by placing suffocating restrictions on greenhouse gas emissions even as China and other countries are given free reign to pollute at will is now coming to fruition. This is all part of the “post-industrial revolution” that the global elite have promised to enforce as a means of turning the United States into a decaying banana republic.
It’s also about the federal government’s drive to seize infrastructure and sell it to the highest foreign bidder by gradually squeezing the ability of local independent utility companies to meet demand in American communities.
The shortage of power plants to meet the demands of Texans and other Americans in areas across the country is down to the EPA holding local utility companies hostage and blocking them from building desperately needed new power plants.
Obama’s January greenhouse gas rules restricted the amount of emissions allowable for new power plants, while giving an exemption to General Electric, an intimate administration insider.

As internal memos from the mid-1990′s that were leaked in 2005 show, oil giants like Mobil, Chevron and Texaco are deliberately reducing refining capacity to drive, “independent refiners out of business in an effort to increase prices.”
“Large oil companies have for a decade artificially shorted the gasoline market to drive up prices,” said FTCR president Jamie Court. “Oil companies know they can make more money by making less gasoline.”

Arizona Passes Second Law Banning Schools From Teaching Ethnic Solidarity Instead Of Individualism!
Arrogant liberals all over America continue to try to condemn and demonize Arizona for their attempts to keep illegal aliens from flooding in and bankrupting their state. Well, Arizona has responded by passing a law to ban ethnic studies courses.
An article on Fox News reports: “After making national headlines for a new law on illegal immigrants, the Arizona Legislature sent Gov. Jan Brewer a bill Thursday that would ban ethnic studies programs in the state that critics say currently advocate separatism and racial preferences. The bill, which passed 32-26 in the state House, had been approved by the Senate a day earlier. It now goes to Gov. Jan Brewer for her signature. The new bill would make it illegal for a school district to teach any courses that promote the overthrow of the U.S. government, promote resentment of a particular race or class of people, are designed primarily for students of a particular ethnic group or ‘advocate ethnic solidarity instead of the treatment of pupils as individuals.’ …Schools that fail to abide by the law would have state funds withheld.”
They must be serious. They actually put some teeth into it!
Why is Arizona of all places suddenly showing some backbone in racial matters? My guess is that it’s all those White people who fled from southern California over the years and who don’t feel like packing up and moving again. That’s the problem with “White flight.” Whenever White people flee, the Third Worlders always follow. Unfortunately, the good public schools in Arizona start filling up with Latinos. Gang bangers start committing crimes and Latinos start turning Arizona into a copy of a bad L.A. neighborhood.
The next interesting step will be to see what the Obama regime does about all these pro-White laws in Arizona. My guess is that the Attorney General is going to go running to federal judges to get injunctions against the laws. IS DEBRA BOWEN REFUSING TO UPHOLD THE LAW?
(May 12, 2010) — On May 10, 2010, Capt. Pamela Barnett (Ret.) filed a lawsuit against Debra Bowen, current California Secretary of State, on the grounds that Bowen has allowed an ineligible candidate to have his name placed on the ballot for the November 2010 election.
The website detailing Bowen’s duties as Secretary of State reads, in part: “Secretary Bowen is also responsible for helping to carry out election laws and campaign disclosure requirements by maintaining a statewide database of registered voters, certifying the official lists of candidates for each election, tracking and certifying ballot initiatives, compiling election returns, and certifying the election results for all state and federal contests.”
Captain Barnett is the Northern campaign manager for Dr. Orly Taitz, who filed several cases in California and Washington, DC asking the courts to hear evidence against Barack Hussein Obama II’s eligibility to serve as president under Article II, Section1 of the U.S. Constitution. Taitz is now a candidatefor Secretary of State on the Republican ticket.
In an interview with Captain Barnett today, she discussed the framework of her case and the results she hopes to realize from it.
MRS. RONDEAU: When did you first consider filing a lawsuit against the named parties, and are they aware of the suit at this point?
CAPT. BARNETT: I decided to sue last week when I realized that Debra Bowen would allow unqualified (according to California election law) Damon Dunn to remain on the ballot after multiple complaints from me and others. I do not know if they are aware yet, but I plan on having them serviced tomorrow.
MRS. RONDEAU: Why is Dunn ineligible to run for Secretary of State?
CAPT. BARNETT: Dunn broke Federal Election law on his voter registration form when he excluded previous addresses where he was registered to vote, thereby rendering it an illegitimate registration. Because of that and when he received his nomination paperwork, he does not meet California election codes to legally be on the ballot.
MRS. RONDEAU: Do you know when the case will be scheduled for a hearing or any preliminary actions?
CAPT. BARNETT: I’m not sure.
MRS. RONDEAU: What type of remedy are you seeking?
CAPT. BARNETT: I am seeking to have Damon Dunn, Republican Candidate for CA Secretary of State; Debra Bowen, current CA Secretary of State; and Edmund G. Brown taken off both the primary and general election ballots. I am also seeking to have the AG’s office invesitgate Obama’s online forged certifications of live birth. Hopefully this would lead to criminal prosecution.
MRS. RONDEAU: Does the lawsuit get to the heart of the eligibility of Damon Dunn?
CAPTAIN BARNETT: Yes, the lawsuit clearly points out that Dunn is not legally qualified to be on the Republican ballot for Secretary of State. The evidence is overwhelming at this point, but there is even more to come at trial. The evidence will prove him to be ineligible and the Secretary of State would be breaking the law to allow Dunn to stay on the ballot. By supporting fraud she would be committing fraud and would also be liable for damages to Orly Taitz for causing her to deplete her campaign contributions to run against an ineligible candidate. My goal is to have Dunn removed from the primary ballot.
MRS. RONDEAU: How does the eligibility or lack thereof of Obama figure into your case?
CAPTAIN BARNETT: I am demanding that the AG investigate the who, what, where, when, why and how of Obama’s forged online birth certificates. By having the forgeries confirmed by the CA AG office, I would believe they would be entitled to see a real certification of live birth if it exists. Of course I would love to have the CA AG office thoroughly investigate Obama’s ineligibility and the fraud around it by filing a RICO lawsuit to see how deep the rabbit hole goes. In a just United States of America, the RICO case would be done and the AG would file a lawsuit to to rescind California’s electoral votes because of Obama’s fraud.
MRS. RONDEAU: In which district was the case filed, and who is the judge (or do you know yet)?
CAPT. BARNETT: California Superior Court. No judge has been assigned yet.
MRS. RONDEAU: Who is your attorney, or are you acting pro se? Right now I amPro Se, but I might see if a civil rights attorney is interested in my case in the future.

CAPT. BARNETT: Lightfoot v. Bowen is long kicked out by SCOTUS after the case mysteriously disappeared from the SCOTUS online docket. However, Captain Pamela Barnett et al v. Obama is on appeal in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Proponents of a state ballot measure to suspend a California climate bill have submitted enough voter signatures to qualify it for November, saying they have nearly twice the number necessary to do so.
One of the chief proponents, Assemblyman Dan Logue, said he believes the submission means the state is one step closer to restoring regulatory sanity.
“It’s a great day,” said Logue, R-Linda, of the formal submission Monday of his measure, which would suspend the 2006 legislation, AB 32, until state unemployment drops to 5.5 percent for an extended period. “People will have a voice on this issue.”
To qualify for the November ballot, as Logue believes it will, county election officials where the campaign submitted signatures will first have to verify the total number, then verify a sample as to whether they’re of actual registered state voters.
A spokesman for a group opposing the measure said the submission of signatures only proves money buys access.

“It’s the power of $2 million in big oil money to get onto the ballot,” said Steve Maviglio of Californians for Clean Energy and Jobs, referring to companies like Valero and Tesoro that have underwritten much of the initiative campaign. Californians for Clean Energy and Jobs announced Monday that George Shultz, secretary of state under President Ronald Reagan, would co-chair their campaign.
“He’s a well-established superstar and he brings a lot of heft to the campaign,” Maviglio said, adding his presence suggests AB32 has far more widespread support among state residents of all political persuasions. “We’re convinced we’ll have a strong coalition of businesses, environmentalists and health care providers speaking on our behalf.”
AB32 would reduce the state’s level of carbon emissions to 1990 levels by 2020, as a means to stem global warming. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has described the bill as one of his legacy achievements while in office.

“We will do everything we can in this state to raise money, bring stakeholders together,” the governor said.
Schwarzenegger said the state will continue to lead the nation with its strong environmental policy.
“California is 40 percent more energy efficient than the rest of the country,” he said. “Now greedy oil companies want to roll back that cut, they want us to depend on just oil.”
Logue and many other conservatives, as well as both major GOP candidates for governor, have said the measure stifles the state’s economy and will make it harder, if not impossible, to recover from the current downturn.
“We don’t want California to go alone while the rest of the country stands by,” Logue said, adding discussions over possible carbon emissions legislation in Washington, D.C. have suggested measures far less draconian than AB32.
He said the group opposing his initiative is largely funded by “green jobs” companies, which are subsidized by taxpayers rather than private funding.
“We want green jobs, blue jobs, gray jobs, all kinds of jobs,” Logue said.
For the ballot initiative suspending AB 32 to qualify, it needs 433,971 verified voter signatures, or a projected number of 477,369 signatures under a method using sample counts of signatures. Logue said the campaign collected more than 800,000 signatures.
According to the California Secretary of State’s press office, both the signature total and registered voter verification must be completed by June 24 to qualify the measure for November.

A brief submitted to an appeals court in California explains that elections officials in California had a duty to examine Barack Obama’s eligibility to the office of president during the 2008 election.
WND previously has reported on the case brought by Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation on behalf of Ambassador Alan Keyes and others.
He has argued that a judge’s earlier dismissal of the case ignored significant precedents, that state officials previously removed from the ballot a nominee for president simply because he did not meet constitutional eligibility requirements and in another situation, a court actually removed agovernment’s chief elected executive from office for not being eligible.

A multitude of cases have been brought over the issue of Obama’s eligibility. Some are by critics who have doubts about whether he was born in Hawaii in 1961 as he has written, and others are from those who question whether the framers of the Constitution specifically excluded dual citizens – Obama’s father was a subject of the British crown at Obama’s birth – from being eligible for the presidency.
The disputes revolve around the Constitution’s demand that the president be a “natural born citizen.”
In his reply brief to Obama’s arguments the case should be dismissed, Kreep argues that even though Obama’s attorneys argue that “jurisdiction over presidential qualifications lies with the United States Congress,” that actually is not a full explanation.
He cites the U.S. Constitution that “each state” shall appoint a number of electors, and “this case concerns itself primarily with California state election law and the compliance or non-compliance by the secretary of state in fulfilling her ministerial duties as chief elections officer of California.”
“This is not a political question, but is, rather, a question well within the jurisdiction of this court to determine, as it is a duty that may be compelled by this court’s equitable power,” he wrote.
A remedy is proper at state level where a duty is imposed on a state officer. The underlying writ does not require anything of any federal official, but does require Respondent [Debra] BOWEN, the California Secretary of State, to fulfill a specific duty to verify that a candidate meets the eligibility requirements for the office that the candidate is seeking. This is a matter of first impression, and RESPONDENT’S correctly assert that there is not yet any statutory or judicial rule which requires this duty of the Secretary of State. However, it is a duty that is reasonably inferred from the already existing duties of said office,” he argues.
Kreep’s earlier appeal documentation had explained the precedents that he believes should be applied.
“In 1968, the Peace and Freedom Party submitted the name of Eldridge Cleaver as a qualified candidate for president of the United States. The then-Secretary of State, Mr. Frank Jordan, found that, according to Mr. Cleaver’s birth certificate, he was only 34 years old, one year shy of the 35 years of age needed to be on the ballot as a candidate for president,” the brief, being filed this week, argues.
“Using his administrative powers, Mr. Jordan removed Mr. Cleaver from the ballot. Mr. Cleaver, unsuccessfully, challenged this decision to the Supreme Court of the State of California, and, later, to the Supreme Court of the United States, which affirmed the actions.”
Also, the governor of North Dakota was removed from office after the state Supreme Court determined he did not meet the state constitution’s eligibility requirements.

In his latest column, political pundit and former presidential candidate Pat Buchanan warns that fiscally strapped California is about to hit the wall and all Americans should be watching and wary – since the destiny of the most populous state is the destiny of the whole nation.
Buchanan paints a grim portrait of a state going eyeball to eyeball in mid-summer with a staggering $24 billion unpaid bill. What’s worse is that no relief seems to be in sight.
When Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger sought federal loan guarantees for new state bonds, “the Obama-ites slammed the door,” fearing to shock already reeling citizens with yet another huge spending program.
Meanwhile, in the state capital, Republicans grimly dig in to fight off any new tax revenue.
What’s the desperate state to do?
Buchanan bullets a number of California’s fiscal last-stands – all of which may be duplicated in some form or another across the country in a not-so-distant future:
Into the Looking Glass
“[T]he demography of California today is the demography of America tomorrow — just as the social and fiscal policies of California in the last decade mirror those of the U.S. government today,” advised Buchanan.
In California, he wrote, “the well-to-do and the wealthy are hammered [with the largest share of the taxes], which is why many have quietly closed their businesses, packed and gone back over the mountains whence their fathers came.”
Just as the U.S. government has undertaken huge new (and expensive) responsibilities, California also went on a spending spree – issuing bonds when state revenues did not cover the costs.
Predictably, Buchanan instructed, the irresponsible spending sent its credit rating down the tubes. “So, too, U.S. Treasury bonds, T-bills and the American dollar are now increasingly suspect,” he advised.
Demographically, California is where America will be in 2040, he warned. The racially diverse but dysfunctional and distrustful city of Los Angeles is the model big city of America’s relentlessly approaching future.
“White folks, who are leaving California as they did in the millions in the 1990s, are below half the population. Hispanics, their numbers surging due to legal and illegal immigration, are well over a third of the population. The African-American share of California’s population is also falling, as the Asian share is rising, again from immigration,” Buchanan instructed.
But watch out, he wrote, certain vital safety valves are being screwed shut – resulting in the columnist’s parting rhetorical question.
“Californians who are running away from the communities and towns in which they were raised have Arizona, Idaho, Colorado, Utah and Nevada to head to. But when all of America arrives at where California is at today, where do the Americans run to?”
Massive Immigration Bankrupting California | Illegal Aliens Cost California $13 Billion Dollars Per Year
Some banks and businesses in California are refusing to honor the recently-issued California IOUs. One news article reports: “Apparently, IOUs issued by an insolvent state aren’t as good as cold, hard cash. Last week, after state leaders failed to find a solution to an ongoing budget crisis, California began issuing IOUs to banks and other creditors. Now, despite initially agreeing to accept the IOUs in lieu of actual payments, some of the country’s biggest banks are refusing to honor the promises to pay.”
By honoring the IOUs, the banks are effectively agreeing to issue loans to millions of people in California. While this may not seem like a big deal now, just how many California IOUs would a bank want to have in its possession? These IOUs could eventually become the next big financial disaster –much like those loan bundles of minority subprime loans which suddenly became worthless. Maybe these banks already see the writing on the wall that California will go bankrupt.
The article notes “According to the Wall Street Journal, among the newly defiant banks are Citigroup (C), JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Wells Fargo (WFC), and Bank of America (BAC). Along with an announcement yesterday by Fitch Ratings that it had dropped California’s credit rating to BBB — just a few notches above speculative levels, this shift in sentiment puts immense pressure on Sacramento to find a lasting solution to the state’s woes.”
So far, the crazy socialist legislature of California still refuses to deport so much as one illegal alien. The Democrats refuse to even admit that illegal aliens take more from the state than they pay in taxes. Considering that illegal aliens either work under the table for cash, not paying any taxes, or they work minimum wage jobs, which pay almost no taxes, it’s hard to imagine why the Democrats continue to tell such obvious lies –except maybe that their liberal supporters are clueless enough to still believe them. The organization FAIR came up with an estimate that illegal aliens cost California $13 billion dollars per year.
California is a huge state, with a massive population of essentially non-productive illegal aliens. Non-Whites make up a majority of the population of California, which is exactly what happens when White people gutlessly ignore the issue of immigration. There was a massive $15 billion dollar tax hike earlier this year, which is causing productive Whites to flee California en masse, pushing the state even closer to bankruptcy. California is leading the nation into a new age of financial insolvency. Productive White taxpayers can no longer pay enough taxes to support the crushing burden of a monstrously large non-White population.
Soon California won’t even be able to pay the police, the mercenaries who keep the lid on Los Angeles, Oakland and all the other minority-infested big cities. There could be massive riots soon as welfare programs go bankrupt, or California IOUs are soon turned down by everyone. “‘Harvey Milk Gay Day’ would teach schoolkids all about the life and very controversial values of Harvey Milk,” said Thomasson. “Based on the historical record of Milk’s sordid life, this could include teaching elementary and secondary schoolchildren that adult-child homosexual ‘sex’ is OK, having multiple sexual relationships at the same time is OK, and telling a very public lie is good if it ‘gets you ahead.’ This instruction, whether taught directly or indirectly, is not what parents want or children need.”

There’s no reason why you can’t love more than one person at a time. You don’t have to love them all the same. PUBLICLY LIED FOR YEARS ABOUT HIS MILITARY CAREER

The text of SB 572 states that “On Harvey Milk Day, exercises remembering the life of Harvey Milk, recognizing his accomplishments, and familiarizing pupils with the contributions he made to this state” shall be conducted; specifically, “all public schools and educational institutions are encouraged to observe…and…conduct suitable commemorative exercises.”

Explaining Milk’s many flings and affairs with teenagers and young men, Randy Shilts writes how Milk told one “lover” why it was OK for him to also have multiple relationships simultaneously:
“As homosexuals, we can’t depend on the heterosexual model…We grow up with the heterosexual model, but we don’t have to follow it. We should be developing our own life-style. There’s no reason why you can’t love more than one person at a time. You don’t have to love them all the same. You love some less, love some more — and always be honest with everybody about where you’re at. They in turn can do the same thing and it can open up a bigger sphere.” (pages 237-238)
PUBLICLY LIED FOR YEARS ABOUT HIS MILITARY CAREER

The text of SB 572 states that “On Harvey Milk Day, exercises remembering the life of Harvey Milk, recognizing his accomplishments, and familiarizing pupils with the contributions he made to this state” shall be conducted; specifically, “all public schools and educational institutions are encouraged to observe…and…conduct suitable commemorative exercises.”
